I Got Married!!!

This time I have a good excuse for neglecting my blog. I got married! On November 29th, 2012, I married Scott, the love of my life, in the Manti Utah Temple for time and all eternity. It was about time we did it and I am so happy we finally made it happen. My aunt was amazing and got us a gorgeous wedding cake. It was a wonderful surprise! I am grateful to everyone who helped us out and everyone who was there. It went smoothly because of all the help we had. I am also excited to finally see the pictures taken by Avery Lawton Photography! She is awesome!
We went honeymooning in St. George and AZ for a couple of weeks and now we are back home and still getting used to all the changes of living and working together. Life is absolutely amazing! The original plan was to have a reception sometime in January, but after talking it over again Scott and I have decided not to have one. Everything was amazing just how it was on the day of the wedding. To make it all even better, we are about to spend our first Christmas together. :D I love being married to my wonderful, amazing, sexy husband! <3 <3 <3
Here are a few pics from my grandparents:

See how gorgeous the cake is?!

Elk Meat is Yummy

Yep. A couple of weeks ago Scott shot his elk and we had fun cutting it up together. It was also rather difficult dragging it out from where he shot it. The night before it took him a few hours just to gut it and move it away from the entrails. It was a big animal. Lucky he had his brothers to come help! I plan to do my own hunting next year! Which means I will have to gut it myself...
Elk meat tastes like a mix of deer and beef to me. We filled up at least a whole box of 40 quart size bags with all the meat. There was soooooo much! Oh, and it's so yummy. :) Now there will be jerky, and stew meat, and steaks!

April Updates

Now that I have finished all the Europe posts I can catch up on what's been going on since I got back! The two biggest things that happened were birthdays. I love birthdays!

First up we have Scott. Happy Birthday Scott!!!
The next birthday was Kadin's, my best friend's baby who turned a year old! Woohoo! He's getting so big. :)

Europe 2012: Rüdesheim am Rhein

Our trip to Rüdesheim was so fun! It is a little wine town situated along the Rhine. We rode the seilbahn (gondola lift) and went for a little hike that was pretty much the most scenic hike I've ever been on. Scott also had his first Döner Kebap. Those things are so tasty! Here are the pictures in no particular order:

Rüdesheim

Scott and I at one of the lookout points along the trail.

The Neiderwald Monument was actually undergoing some touch-ups
so it was covered  by scaffolding and a  picture of the statue right over the top.

A funny tree if you ask me.

Rossel Castle
The "Enchanted/Wizard's Cave"

The Niederwald Temple, used as a lookout in the late 1700s.

Scott on the seilbahn. Behind him are lots and lots of vineyards.
Self-explanatory. Yummy yummy!

Europe 2012: Wiesbaden

Woohoo! I love Europe and my parents live there so I had to go again. This time I took Scott with me and showed him what it was like to be an American living in Deutschland. Lol. We had so much fun traveling and seeing new things! I still can't get over how amazing it is out there. Sigh... Anyway, I'm going to post photos of places we went to see but I'll probably do a separate post for each because there are soooo many pictures! Here are a few pictures of the lovely Wiesbaden:

A nice view of the Marktkirche.

Scott and I in the Marktplatz.

A view of one of the many villages from the walking paths in the fields.

Me in front of the Kurhaus.

Mainz on the other side of the Rhine River.

I'm Still Alive!

Here I go again with the updates. Sheesh!

December
This month I got to to see one of my best friends, Annalee, since her aunt and uncle were coming up for a visit and she just couldn't sit at home. She's awesome and I love her.

I also got to see another awesome friend of mine! Alisa!!! I am happy to be back in the USA because of them. :)
Then came Christmas. I spent my first Christmas away from my family, and instead was there to experience Christmas with Scott's family. Scott decided we needed a D-SLR camera for Christmas so we now have a Canon 7D and absolutely love it!
January
I spent the turning of the new year down in St. George with a bunch of friends. It was pretty fun! We stayed in a nice big house and just hung out, ate food, and did some hiking. Scott and I played with the new camera and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that St. George has to offer. I love the red rock that is everywhere there!
Later that month we went to see Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and I LOVED it! I need to visit Dubai sometime, don't you think?
February
Look what Scott got me for Valentine's Day!!! Awww!
March
In March I took a random trip down to see Scott in Grand Junction, CO. He was there because  of a class he needed to take for work so we would hang out after it was over. Tehe!
